Thanksgiving Recipes

I'm back! The cruise was so much fun, and I wish I could have stayed much longer, but we all have to get back to reality at some point, right? While I'm digging out from under piles of laundry and sorting through pictures so I can write a post about the trip, I thought I'd share some Thanksgiving recipes with you guys. It will be here before we know it!

Thank You's

Before I get into those, I wanted to say a huge thank you to Daisy, Michelle, Meghan, Jen, and Emily for writing guest posts for me. Unfortunately, even though they were fine in preview mode, the pictures in Emily's post didn't show up. I've fixed them and you can go back and check out how delicious her taco dinner looked now.

I also wanted to thank all of you for  all the congratulatory comments about my engagement. I am beyond excited and now that I'm back from vacation, I'm going to get serious about the wedding planning!

Thanksgiving

Last year I made a mini Thanksgiving dinner just for Jeff and me so I could try out some Thanksgiving recipes. I wrote all about how I planned and executed the meal and shared the recipes I tried. It was really fun, and I learned that brining a turkey is definitely the way to go. If you've never done it before, I encourage you to try it out this year (whether you're hosting Thanksgiving or just want to make a mini Thanksgiving dinner of your own). Below are links to recipes from that dinner as well as some other great Thanksgiving recipes.

This year we're going to Jeff's parents' house for dinner on Thanksgiving and then meeting my family at the Cape on Saturday for another Thanksgiving dinner. I don't know if I'll end up making a mini Thanksgiving dinner, but I'll definitely be making some desserts and maybe trying out a few Thanksgiving-worthy recipes just for fun!

Do you know what you're making for Thanksgiving this year? What are your favorite Thanksgiving dishes?
