Sibling Rivalry is a well-known restaurant in Boston's South End serving up modern American cuisine. Chefs David and Bob Kinkead are brothers who work together to create a dueling menu sure to appease all diners. Each brother will do a different take on the same concept. For instance, while Chef David would make a crispy pressed duck with butternut squash gnocchi for a "fowl" dish, Chef Bob would do a spit-roasted half chicken with a savory crepe.
I'm sure if you have siblings you've gotten pretty competitive with them before -- I know I have with mine. While I haven't been to Sibling Rivalry yet, I imagine the playful competition and juxtaposing dishes spur more creativity and challenge the chefs more. My sister is the best cook in our family. I'm jealous of how she can just look at some ingredients and toss things together.
I do all of the cooking in my household so I guess by default I am the best cook in our household(Mom & siblings have all passed away - Dad doesn't cook) but my daughter who went to Culinary School is an amazing pastry chef!
Hard to pick - my family has a lot of great cooks! Each with a little different style & specialty. And since retirement, my grandfather has turned into a fabulous baker!
While I'd like to say I'm the best cook, it's easily my brother. He can just whip things up. I try to learn, but it's so hard!

Tough question - we're all good cooks for different reasons! Mom is good at following recipes, my sister is good at finding unique recipes, and I'm good at making up my own recipes.
I'd say it's a dead tie between my Mom and my Dad - both have their specialties and are incredibly creative in the kitchen!
Does my boyfriend count? Otherwise it's a tough competition between my brother who burns hot dogs when he boils them and my mother who once made a goat cheese and tofu dish (hint: not good!)
Believe it or not, I am. No one else in my family cooks. They just microwave things. I cooked a lot as a kid growing up. That's probably why I don't enjoy it now as an adult.

I have a very unique family, because everyone's great at cooking! Even my little brother who never had any interest has started taking culinary classes. I'm probably the best baker, but my mom is by far the best cook - she's incredible, and can make anything taste good!
best cook in the house has to be my mom. she has some recipes that can never be matched anywhere. and her willingness to try new recipes and adventurous skills in the kitchen inspire me to do the same.
