Halloween is just around the corner... have you decided what you're handing out to trick-or-treaters this year?
I remember that my favorite houses were always the ones that gave out king-size candy bars. Those were the "good" houses. But I also remember that I'd get home after a night of trick-or-treating and cover the whole dining room table with nothing but candy.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but to avoid giving all the kids in your neighborhood candy overload, I have another idea for you. How about handing out some popchips?
popchips, all-natural chips that are popped rather than fried, were chosen as a favorite snack by a panel of kids in Real Simple. Unlike traditional fried potato chips, popchips have all the flavor and less than half the fat, making them a great better-for-you "treat" option this halloween. The cheddar (orange) and salt & pepper (black) are great flavors and will make any trick-or-treat bowl look more festive!
popchips recently sent me a box of chips to try, and I have to admit I was a little nervous because I don't like potato chips (besides Cape Cod chips), but popchips don't have that greasy taste (and nauseating smell) that most potato chips do, so I really liked them. And I love that they come in a variety of tasty flavors.

I don't remember many of my costumes! I was in a pair of dice with my friend once. . . I just remember Halloween always being really cold and having to wear a coat over my costume.

OMG, popchips are my total fave. My most creative costume ever was when my mom dressed me up as a tub of margarine, so cute, she had every little detail just right and she went as a piece of toast-so we were the perfect pair!
You're really blessed not to like chips :) I'm not super creative with costumes but did dress Sadie up a couple years ago!

I haven't dressed up for halloween in AGES, but I still like to celebrate the holiday by eating copious amounts of candy. Sometimes now I even like to make my own!

As a teenager, being too old for trick or treating, I started working as a makeup artist for the local Haunted House production, and got interviewed by the local paper for my work. :)

Ben loves popchips! It would be good to stock up on some more :) I love love love Halloween and one thing that makes me sad about where we live is that we're on a main street and don't get trick-or-treaters (I love our house though, just wish we could pick it up and move it somewhere else!)
This is actually the first year I still don't have a costume planned. I desperately want to be Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus, but Z won't have it. ;)

the best costume i ever had was a birthday present--my mom wrapped a box (holes for my arms and head) and i wore a bow on my head :)
