Me with Moira of Whim Events

Natalie and Moira of Whim Events are simply incredible! You've just seen the pictures so I don't have to convince you of that, but here goes anyways. I found Whim Events when I was browsing wedding stuff online and I contacted them through their website. I soon got an email response from Natalie and we set up a time to meet. Natalie and Moira came to our neighborhood and met Jeff and me at a sandwich shop right around the corner from where we lived. The four of us sat down together and talked about our vision for our rustic/elegant fall wedding, and I pulled out a folder with all the clippings of flower arrangements I'd taken from various magazines. I am so lost when it comes to things like flowers, so the best I could do was tell them everything I was thinking, show them ideas I liked, and hope they got it. And they did!

In the months leading up to the wedding, we worked out the contract and as I saw different things or thought of different things (like flowers for the bridal party's hair), we rehashed the contract. On Pinterest one day I saw my dream bouquet and immediately sent it to Natalie, gushing that it was my new favorite, even over the pictures I'd clipped and given to them. On our wedding day, when I walked into the bridal party suite and saw my bouquet, I was blown away. That bouquet on Pinterest wasn't my dream bouquet; the bouquet Moira made me was. It was absolutely perfect. And so were the rest of the bouquets, the flowers for our hair, and the guys' boutonnières.

As I walked around the venue and saw everything Natalie and Moira had done, I could finally see the whole wedding coming together. (Everyone tells you there's a moment when it clicks that this is actually happening -- that was my moment.) The aisles were lined with hydrangeas, pomegranates, artichokes, and petals. The tables were decorated were tree bark, berries, candles, and gorgeous flowers in stunning colors.

They really went above and beyond, and I'll remember the flowers at my wedding forever. If you're planning a wedding or other special event and want some really passionate, talented women to work with, I highly recommend Natalie and Moira at Whim Events.

I'm excited that Whim Events also does special occasion flowers. They had beautiful arrangements for Thanksgiving last year. I may actually be able to get one this year now that I have a house to put it in!
